SmartCOP Enters Strategic Partnership with Chief360

A Strategic Partnership

SmartCOP, Inc., a public safety software provider of Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management, and Jail Management Software, has entered into a strategic partnership with Chief360, an emergency technology company that provides life-saving emergency data to first responders.  SmartCOP’s mobile software, provides deployed personnel with full system access from their laptops, phones, and tablets. However, with the Chief360 partnership, specialized tools unique to fire and EMS are now available.

SmartCOP’s Computer Aided Dispatch(SmartCAD) system integrates with Chief360’s Chief Mobile App to provide alerts and notifications to responding fire and EMS units. Once the app receives an alert, a push notification will display on the device that provides detailed information about the incident, such as call for service location, knox box information, notes and medical information, hydrant locations, crew makeup, responding status, as well as mapping and turn by turn directions.

With this certification, SmartCAD users have the ability to:

  • Open a new case when ProQA, based on answers provided, recommends further action (i.e., Fire, EMS, or PD Case).
  • Clone the existing case, create a new one, append the existing or do nothing.
  • Enter a timeframe in which the event occurred (i.e., happened right now, less than 6 hours, more than 6 hours, etc.).
  • Generate a note automatically to the CAD incident if people, vehicle, or vessels are added to a case.
