The Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association (TSA) is a registered non-profit educational organization established in 1971. Its operations are overseen by a director under the supervision of an executive committee made up of sheriffs from across Tennessee.
The TSA is dedicated not to financial gain but to serving the interests of all law-abiding citizens of Tennessee. Funds from honorary memberships and donations are used to:
- Fulfill TSA’s mission and obligations
- Provide bi-monthly in-service training for sheriffs and chief deputies
- Maintain a legislative liaison service to support laws that protect citizens
