The City of Apopka Fire/EMS enhances emergency response with SmartCOP’s Florida Fire Dispatch Software, integrating CAD, mobile, AVL, and ProQA systems.SmartCOP is proud to announce a new partnership with the City of Apopka Fire/EMS, expanding our presence in the Sunshine State. To modernize their fire and EMS response capabilities, Apopka is implementing SmartCOP’s leading Florida Fire Dispatch Software, including SmartCAD and SmartMOBILE.

The implementation includes eight SmartCAD workstations and 30 mobile devices installed in fire apparatus, fully integrated with:

  • Medical Priorities ProQA/Paramount System for Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD)

  • Automated Fire Incident Exporting for compliance and documentation

  • Next-gen AVL Radio Integration via Motorola’s advanced radio systems, giving dispatchers real-time visibility into the location of both personnel and apparatus

This setup empowers Apopka’s dispatchers and responders to choose the best-positioned unit based on GPS location, speeding up response times and improving firefighter safety.
